Oh my, all i want to do is place a cut and pasted picture from one document to another in a top left hand corner, however paint will only let me punt it in the centre of the paper, if i try to cut and move it then it will cut of the bits that are not in the centre ahhhhhhh some one please help xx

Tink, It's really difficult to visualise what it is you're trying to do, but first off, Paint is a pretty crappy little program these days. I find that using MS Word can be useful coz you can insert a pic into a document and the drag it to where you want it & even resize it. There's lots of free editing stuff out there; this looks like one http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/software/Phot oPlus/
but all printers and scanners and cameras all come with something like it - ask around, someone will have something. If you are making a drawing in Paint, ok - just save it to your drive then open in some other software, or insert it into a Word doc. I really hope this helps.
