Water cooler taps
6 Answers
The water dispensers at my workplace each have one white and one blue tap. Since the water that comes out of each tap seems to be identical, what is the point of two different coloured taps? (The water coolers were the same at my previous workplace too).

The blue tap should produce cold water approx 6 - 10 degrees the white tap should prodcue room temp (remember if you office get cold at night that will affect it. on the coolers i sell they have a blue tap and a white tap but thay are both connected to the single tank (cold water only). The only cooler i have ever sold with 2 tanks is a FSHC (free standing hot and cold). It has a cold tank and a hot tank. on a hot and cold cooler you can turn off the hot tank which will then produce room temp water. (thus you can swap the red tap to a white tap.
