Can anyone tell me when bluetooth headsets first appeared, and also when were the first SIM cards intoduced? Thanks.

The Bluetooth specification was developed in 1994 by Sven Mattisson and Jaap Haartsen, who were working for Ericsson Mobile Platforms in Lund, Sweden.[2] The specifications were formalized by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). The SIG was formally announced on May 20, 1998.

I could be wrong on this one, but I believe the SIM was introduced at the same time as the first digital (2G) mobile phone, which was 1990 in the States and 1991 in Europe.
