no sound again
thank you for the last link ...i have gone to the aspire series 3600 but i cannot see anywhere for an audio driver...does anyone know what i can do from there.

On the drivers page, in the TOP drop down list, where it probably says "driver"
Select on the arrow to the right and a list drops down.
In the list is Audio Driver RealTek ver 5.10.0.5257
Select this then select Save.
It is a Zip file so you need to unzip or unpck it before you can install it.
Do you want me to come round and do it for you :-)

hi drop me an email i have sorted a few people out here with loss of sound if that is what u mean i have a programme what sorts out all audio problems
