x-box 360 problems

i have a x-box 360 that was bought last september, one day i went to play it and when i turn it on the light turns red and flashes, is there something wrong with it, it won't play any games.

how many lights turn red?

4 = video cable probably unplugged
3= hardware failure call Xbox support
2= overheating power off and check for ventilation around console
1= other hardware failure usually has an error code on screen if you have a hard drive try unplugging it and see if it works if not its back to xbox support again
