sticky subject

we bought a fridge freezer and there was a sticker on it about enery saving, which we tried to peel off and its left sticky papery substance on it, any ideas on how to remove it???

Rub it of with smooth peanut butter ..sounds silly ..but it works ! Then just give it a wipe over with a damp cloth.

wow!!! im amazed, i tried the hairspray first which softened the sticky stuff then used a hot cloth & washing up liq. and it wiped it all off....thanks very much....im amazed
