KM Links Game - March results

Well, this brings us to the close of yet another month's Kate Mepham Links Game or to coin a phrase - 'match it with Mepham'

All I'm really doing is attempting to hide the matched links from anyone who would rather not read them in advance - but having waffled sufficiently, now I'll get down to tin tacks!!

The linked words were

Swallow Dive
Toffee Apple
Tundra Swan

and inspite of there being, at first glance, not a lot of scope, in fact all matches were gone by 7.59am, the first being slaney with Swallow Dive, then cliffyg & Aquagility both with Signature Tune, next was yours truly, showing her sweet tooth with Toffee Apple and finally the last match went to Jan1956 with Tundra Swan.

And to continue with the breakdown, the sun sets slowly on one glorious reign and we wave farewell to the reigning Queen Jan of February and acknowledge the newly crowned King of March, wickedtongue who added another point to his accumulation to make it a total of 13 points for this month

Congratulations, King wickedtongue and all hail !!
You are a very worthy contender for this esteemed position, however there are several others whose considerable efforts make them shining additions to complete your court.

At the head of this panoply comes the inimitable Aquagility whose 9 points makes him a more than capable Prince Regent, the lovely Arabesque with 8 points - a most alluring Consort, and an exclusive group of three, each with 7 points - slaney, twosearch & ShazzaHewat a cluster of young princes and princesses - I think I'd better stop before I get slapped with a legal suit for defamation or some equally unpleasant royal decree like 'off with 'er 'ead' !!!

Congratulations once again to everyone who took part, thank you for putting up with my ramblings, and we will re-convene the whole thing to start all over again, next weekend

Well done everyone and a big thanks to Steff for all her hard work.

On a different note, I have just received an email from AB Ed re my emails about sarumite last week. It just says that my comments have been noted. We will see if anything comes from it. :-) It says nothing about Aq though.

Thank you Steff for organising us all for another month. It's just as well that I get a certain amount of pleasure from trying to introduce a little bit of variety into the Links, because I certainly don't get any from scoring points!

Still....April is another month & I may have to change tactics..but I may have said that at the end of February......
