is pushing an abuse?
the other night me and my boyfriend were arguing he'd had a drink and he got peed of with me because i was in his face so he puched me over twice and now iv got 2 bruises on my arms and 2 on my legs, this has happened once before, when i spoke to him the next day he was apologetic and he brought me flowers he looked genuily sorry, we have been going out for 4 years and i generally no what makes him tick and i kind of push it especially when iv had a drink so are we both to blame in situations like this ?

Now Im not saying you are like this because I dont know the situation but what I dont like is when girls provoke their blokes to get a reaction or think its ok to hit or push them but if they do it back they play the abuse card. Domestic violence or abuse is a pattern of controlling and aggressive behaviours from one adult, usually a man, towards another, usually a woman, within the context of an intimate relationship. The forms of abuse whether psychological, economic, emotional and physical - come from the abusers desire for power and control.
