Withering Buxus balls - help!
I have three buxus balls outside my front. I have tried my best to keep them looking their best but they look as if something heavy has sat inside each of them. They are not the perfect shaped buxes balls they once were and part of them looks as if they are dying. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to breath new life into them?

Cut out any dead material back and hopefully it will regenerate.
Keep it trimmed throughout the spring and summer, keep well watered, especially if they are in pots, a mulch of compost or bark chips will help retain moisture.
Feed with a general tree and shrub fertiliser as recomended. Good luck. Tbird+
Ps lay off with the shears if any sign of frost !
