Ford Mondeo anti-roll bar bushes

how hard is it to fit anti-roll bar bushes on a 1997 1.8 Mondeo. Could an amatuer fit them or would it be a job for a garage.

it is possible to fit them yourself but you need at least 2 jacks for the rear ones . one for the body and the other is to line up the suspention with the roll bar . it was quite easy on my 96 turb derv the front was done in a garage . put it this way the back cost �12 for the bushes and about one hour the front cost �12 for the bushes and �90 (yes ninty quid) for a garage to fit them

Thanks for that info Mandela.
It's the front bushes that need replacing, there is a local garage that would fit them but they would want the car all day and charge an arm and a leg.
