I've got a whopping book on this but need some simple tips that really work. Has anyone found that cutting out a particular food or eating lots of another REALLY helps with the chronic pain of this disease? A sufferer.

Due to the nature of endometriosis I wouldn't have thought that diet would affect it at all. Have a look at this website though http://hcd2.bupa.co.uk/fact_sheets/html/endome triosis.html
It is nasty and can have you in agony. As it is not part of the digestive tract or bowel, I cannot see how diet would help it.

However, anything is worth a try, as long as it doesn't harm you.

my daughter is an aromatherapist, she recommends peppermint oil rubbed into the tummy. It's worth a try

Thanks all. Will try the peppermint oil.
I can't see how diet can really help as it's all to do with growths of tissue etc. but apparently if there are high levels of oestrogen in the body this makes it worse. So eggs are one thing I've heard I should avoid...
