Does anyone get colds as much as me?
5 Answers
I get chest colds and chest infections atleast every couple of months. Please tell me that there are others out there that get it as frequently. I work with the public so I must catch from them? I've obviously a weakness to this virus. I'm going to alter my diet by eating atleast 4 portions of fruit and veg everyday but should I be drinking fruit juice religously aswell? Cheers in advance

Thanks for your advice guys, but I am a non smoker, I take multivitamins inc iron regularly, I had a chest xray recently and it showed nothing and I don't have astma. I shall try the echinnacea supplements though. Last time I saw doc he didnt seem at all bothered that I get recurring chest infections and said that some people just get it alot! The only test that came back unusual was my lung capacity test which showed that it's slightly lower than it should be. Thanks anyway
Try vit c----1000mg a day. I have been taking it for years and I rarely get a full-blown cold anymore. and,as soon as I feel as if i am coming down with one-scratchy throat etc I will take extra. Don't take them all at once tho as you may end up with a quesy tum from all that acid. Good luck!....O,and you are better off with fresh fruit rather than juice...more goodness, and a bit less sugar.
