Hi, is it OK to keep the above outdoors? My daughter chose this yesterday as a plant of rememberence for our Great Dane who died recently.....the bluddy thing is about 8' tall and then my step-mum tells me it's a house plant!!!
Please tell me she is wrong!

Cheers hun....am off to plant it up then.... So glad it's not going to die on me as my Danes ashes are going to be 'in with the roots'...... ho hum......at least he's not here to pee all over it...... a certain death warrant for any plant lol.

our two labs have a lovley patch of daffs in flower at the moment
Just to add a little to Tbird+'s answer, I have one, and its maximum height is 30feet, but thats over a period of about twenty years.
When my cairn terrier died 10 years ago I did this little plot for him at the bottom of the garden and no matter what I planted there it died .Now there is a 10ft cordolyne in a big tub and we say to him ,now try weeing on that.
