how much wine is enough? i simply cannot find the amount, i drink rose mostly about 11% but it tastes soo good i can drink loads of it, however, the pub serve it in 250ml glasses so 3 is equal to a bottle! i went out on thursday and must have had about 6 because we were having a good time chatting and was awful, cant remember anything from gettin in the taxi and was sick as a dog all day friday and even feel tired today! i swear i will never drink again, but i know i will, i need to find the balance

thanks that helps with weekly limits but says no more than 3 units in one day!!! which is 1 x 250ml glass of wine, for a night out this isn't much,

Most pubs will also sell wine by the bottle, so you could buy a bottle between you and then you can just sit with that all night. I normally have water as well so I can alternate.

I understand the problem, Fairie. Fortunately for us all, it's stated elsewhere that if you get blotto, then have several days without alcohol, it'll give your liver, (and you), time to recover from the excess.

I think from now on i will buy a bottle and when its gone, know that i have had enough by far!!

I've had 4 days wihout a drink and feel my body has recovered although i have no plans to return to that state ever again!!
