Everyone's demanding a uefa inquiry, and wondering about the outcome. Stuff uefa - shouldn't the British government be asking the Italian government why its police force beat up a load of British citizens without provocation?
Nothing new really. Didn't the Iranian authorities beat up (symbolically) a load of British citizens, although in uniform, without really too much provocation? Perhaps it's time to stay home.
In 1988 I went to see Napoli play Roma, I don't mean I went there specifcally to see a football game I just happened to be there on holiday, the violence after the game couldn't be matched by Millwall cretins taking on Man U Morons
football hooligans beaten by police. nothing wrong with that. keep it up Italians. Give them a taste of their own medicine...most of them are thugs and hooligans and if any innocent bystander was caught in it.....serves you righht for hanging around a bunch of english louts.
I think everyone has to realise that European policemen are not soft, never have been and never will, so don't expect politeness in this type of situation. The English Police Force take far too much flak and rudeness from oafs. No other country's fans get treated like this, I wonder why.
If you saw the TV yesterday, the Italian Police have released footage showing Man Utd fans spitting at them !
They deserved everything they got. The same people then have the audacity to moan on British TV they where roughly treated, Ha !
