When I worked at a vets we advised 1 year old, that gives the dog time to grow and mature
Can be done from about 6 months, but as Janiee says, he really needs time to grow, and before a year old he should not give you much trouble.
I had my dog done at 5 months old. The vet told me that the sooner a dog is done, the more chance there is of stopping aggression.
