i would like to move to spain with my little boy and fiance but not sure on how to go about it. i'm a qualified hairdresser and my fiance is in his 3rd year of being a joiner.if anyone can help me i would be ever so grateful. email me at [email protected]. thanks

Erm... you find a property you like, put an offer in, buy it and then move!

Once you are there, you can start to look for jobs although I suppose you could do this before you go.

You have the right to live and work in Spain and you and your family will be entitled to health care, education and so on.

If you live in a mainly British community you should both find plenty of work - there is a huge call for carpenters and hairdressers.

However, you should start learning Spanish NOW - the red tape is a nightmare, and you know how difficult things can be in the UK where you understand the system and the language. It is far, far worse in Spain, especially if you don't speak Spanish.

There are plenty of online sites for people like you - see if you can find one with a helpful forum of expats in Spain.
