No news as yet, I believe.

It's the biggest cliffhanger since Life On Mars ended.
wow pip, wasnt that just fantastic! oops, sorry, i need to get my ass off to media to discuss this!
I don't blame Sizzle for doing a disappearing act really, I know we all like to have a laugh on here and I for one usually come on to be cheered up, ( it works ), but the girl sounded genuinely distressed and some of the replies ranged from flippant to downright insensitive ( the one that said " he's probably taken an overdose " was uncalled for, I think.
To Sizzle, it was a real problem, and some people have difficulty discussing their feelings face to face (or simply have no-one to turn to, I'm not saying either of these are true in this case ) but I think one or two people went a bit too far. I'm no expert, but I think the distress in her posts was almost tangible.

If you're reading Sizzle, hope it turned out OK for you x x
Peppy, i agree! didnt answer in the other thread as was toooooo long when i read it earlier!
I used to sometimes have difficulty contacting my fella, I used to do my nut, one morning i was trying to phone him,and couldnt get him on the mobile or home phone, i ended up phoning the reception at his work and asking, only to be told he wasnt in at work!
My god, it was hell, in the end he answered his phone and was at home in bed ill!
Although we had been together longer then a month, even at a month, if i hadnt heard from him i would of been exactly the same, because we always spoke and txt all the time!
yeah Sizzle, this site has become so daft at times, most people just forget how some questions can be, or which question is a genuine question or a wind-up.

hope things turned out how you want it too :-)

xx
meant to say "how serious some questions can be"

No I didnt answer her either because I didnt know what to say, but I read all her threads. Trouble is when your young and in love ( I guess shes young) everything is so intense. Hope Sizzle comes on and puts us out of our misery.
i didnt answer but i do think our own problems, no matter how trivial to someone else, are still important to us! I hope it all works out for her!
I felt very very sorry for poor SizzleSquid (lovely name!).

That'll teach people not to post serious problems in B&S.

I saw this once before in CB, when a putative young girl posted a problem - she got ripped apart. Subsequent posts from her showed that the original post was genuine. A plea for help was met with derision and wit, well, derision anyway.
I do think that some people on here can be pretty out of order, if i was to come on and post a serious thread say, about my animals, and some people who dont like animals come along they just take the ****!
Much the same as when my dad phones and first thing he asks is which of my pets has died or runaway, every phone call :(
Same as with relationships, to people who are marrid and older and so on, some things seem pathetic to worry about, but when your young, or someone like my self, it can be hell to go through!
For crying out loud I was only winding her up!!! if I caused her any distress then I apologise but jeeeezus her boyfriend whom dhe had only met a couple of days before, hadn't text her when his battey was flat. If i remember right, she didnt even know his last name, AND it turned out that he may have been ibvolved in a gun vendetta shooting.
I agree with johnlambert!

Her problem strarted here wondering if she should contact a guy that she hadn't heard from for a 'whole' day, to her adding information that he could have been shot!
She justified it by saying she had been seeing him for about a month, yet still didn't know his surname (in order to phone hospitals etc)....
She further tried to add impact by adding he didn't have a job, or any money to put on his phone. Then added that she bought his phone credit for him....!!!

To me, and john, it all sounded a little bit 'made up'.

The real relationship problems go to 'Relationships and Dating'. She would have pitched in here to lead us to the real issue (if there was one) and asked her question there.

Bite me if I'm wrong!
Short-sighted and insensitive. And unable to read between the lines, which, for a man who's supposedly been a high-ranked military person is positively shameful.
Or have I got the wrong JL ? x x
no peppy you have the right JL
I have an uncanny ability to detect bullsh1t, just as I did when joe_the_ward~minter claimed he had been an Army officer. These people are taking the p1ss and im winding them up,
simple
i see no response from SizzleSquid so either she is ashamed, making-out with said boyfriend or JohnL is right.
John is very right...

That is such a p!ss take I can't believe the Ed actually believed it....
