n.i.p. never recieved

Have recieved a summons for speeding, 37 in 30 area. They say the NIP was served by post within the 14 days, but I have never recieved it.....The summons was recieved 6 months after the alleged offence..which was the first I had heard of it...I can prove I wasnt the driver but how can I prove that I never recieved the NIP( which I didnt)

you cant really,but the police will prove they sent it,just write or phone them and explain the situation and im sure you will be able to sort it out.
