Rude bloke humour
17 Answers
I have a 'sensible' question....but I am almost afraid to ask because things seem to go down the pan and disintegrate pretty quickly here.!!!! Well here goes...I work in an almost all female environment except for 1 part-time male worker...he generally seems a nice enough bloke but sometimes his humour is at sewer level constantly. None of us are prudes but we are all a bit uncomfortable with it and he doesn't seem to be aware that all of us --whether young or older ----can take only so much. We will leave the room as a group while he carries on laughing at his own jokes....what to do while being tactfull???

Sorry to come here without intentions to answer, because I don't know what to say in this case, as I usually don't get offended easily and if I do I say in the person's face (but this might not be the best thing to do in a professional situation) but I wanted to let you know that I am ok, I disappeared for some days because I had a friend at home over Easter, and during last week I was going to the hospital almost everyday, remember? about that girl who lives in Stoke-on-Trent, she is from Brasil, married to an English guy and she needs a liver transplant... so I was there giving her some support.
But now I'm back and I already answer both you and lauren there in my question, with my email so have a look when you can :o)
Big hug!

Hey, Reina.
Glad you are having a nice time with friends. I read your posts in Relationships and felt lonely for you.
Stay on here, your advice and help is good.
Stay away from those nasty 'stereo-types', sadly that is most of the population of UK.
I plan on visiting Bras(z)il this year and need your advice and help on where to go and who to see.
Hasta amiga.

could it be that he's feeling intimidated by working with females only and feels a bit uncomfortable and the only way for him to deal with it, is to put on this facade?
I think if someone had a word with him and said you'd much prefer him as a person if he left the sordid stand up at home and just be eau naturelle at work
