Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Just a nod to solvers of the online version of the Times Sunday Cryptic crossword. The wrong clues have been supplied again. I've sent a rather testy e-mail, but I suppose it will be around Tuesday before this is remedied. Perhaps more e-mails would help.

Hi Geo I've just downloaded mine and was about to ask ABers if the one in the today's paper was correct as I didn't want to waste time (and money) .
Yet another angry email on it's way to The Sunday Times!

I've just noticed that they have messed up the Mephisto as well!
Some of the across clues are incomplete and while it is probably still possible to finish it it is a damned nuisance!

I'm going to attempt the S. Times clues without the grid.

Yes k, I think this is just slackness on the part of the IT people at The Times.
They don't seem to appreciate the fact that we old fogies get very upset when our routines are upset in this way.
I'm so annoyed, I could spit, really :-)

PS: I like your idea of doing the crossword without the grid, that should be interesting.
