Bind Weed

Can anyone advise me how to eradicate bind weed from my garden.

I have had suggestions such as put bamboo canes in the garden to let it grow up - I don't want to encourage it!!!

Use vinegar to kill all the plant life in the garden - I do not want to loose some really nice plants I already have.

Both of the above sound pretty strange to me, so I am not sure what you will think, but I look forward with interest to your replies.

use roundup or any other weedkiller containing glyphosate

you grow it up the bamboo cane so that you can then give it a good spray of weedkiller and it will absorb it down to the root, if its all over the ground when you spray it it makes life very difficult just to spray the bind weed bits and you risk killing other stuff
