I lit a great big fire today and stood mesmarised by it, as a young grump I always liked a good fire but the girls would rather play with dolls, just wondering, as you get older ladies, do you start to appreciate fire more?

In answer to your Q....yes I loved a coal fire especially at crimbo and on those cold winter days/nights........can still remember mum and dad putting the shovel on the grate with the newspaper over it...... :)
