Smells around Bradford

As I approach Bradford from the M606, there is often a strong disinfectant smell. Could someone please enlighten me as to what it is and where it originates from

Thanks , but why is it always a disinfectant smell, like Jeyes fluid

There�s a sewage/water treatment works near the 606, near the M62 end, I'd guess its from there, when they clean it out. You can smell the sewage on hot days, so disinfectant is a welcome change, wish I smelt that more that other smell!
