There can't be any simple answer to this question (apart, of course, from pointing out that all UK citizens have the right to live and work in Ireland).

Most countries require that immigrants have 'something to offer'. In some countries, such as Australia, certain occupations will help you to gain favourable consideration. (Such occupations normally require professional qualifications at degree level standard). So, it might be hard for someone who's retired (and thus who can't offer any employment skills) to emigrate to Australia.

Malta, on the other hand, hardly ever grants work permits to foreigners. However, the government is keen to attract foreign investment and capital. So a retired person, with substantial savings, might find be accepted as a migrant because of the money they'd bring with them.

With some countries, having close relatives already living there will help.

You also need to decide which countries qualify as 'English speaking'. For example, would you count India among them?
