My cat just had kittens a week ago and I'm wondering if I touch them, will she eat them? And if yes, how long do I have to wait until I can touch them without my cat getting upset?

I don't think that you need to worry about touching the kittens. When a mother cat has a c-section done, she is more than willing to accept her kittens even though they have een recessitated by hand by a human. If they are a week old now then there is nothing to worry about. She has familiarized herself with them and because she is familiar with you, she won't mind. (If she does it will be the first I've heard of) YOu should handle the kittens to begin socializing them because you don't want ferile kittens.
As for eating them, it is usually a rival tom cat that does the canibalism.
Hope this helps; Have fun with your kittens
Hi, I agree with the above.  When my cat has had kittens, I have had to help her at birth, opening the sac, clearing the airways etc, and have handled them from then on.  She has never shown any agression to me or her kittens. Have fun!
in a way i agree because on the second day i already touched the cats and she didnt do nothing to them, but hopefully she doent hope it helps
