this could be a long shot but does anyone out there know of a song that was in the charts possibly back in the 70's with french lyrics but the only bit of it that i can remember is it goes ratatatatat some where in it. so any help would be great

I think the song is by Manhattan Transfer and it's called (not sure of the spelling) Chanz ans d'amour.
