Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

In which state of the USA can you visit a city named after the fourth president of the USA and which contains a historic house with the same name as the middle name of a great American dramatist; another historic house with the same name as the surname of a British composer; and a fountain with the same name as a famous New York thoroughfare?

Madison crops up everywhere!

I'd have another look if I were you. I could be wrong, but there is a Madison City in another state and all the landmarks mentioned appear to be in that state not WI. The other state is IA (American way of identifying)

Its ok Kavala you are quite correct in what you say. But I never went for Wisconsin for those reasons. I had checked the houses etc. And indeed IA fits perfectly. I never made it clear in my response purposely.

I've just seen your exchange with Kavala. Interesting. It didn't register with me that it was the name of the state that was required, and it certainly didn't register that the Madison I was looking at wasn't in Wisconsin. Glad you weren't misled. Hope you win.
