drain most of the water out of the pond so the fish are visible, you can do pond maintenance at the same time and maybe a bit of a clean!!
...and when you do catch them please don't release them in the wild. They are quite hardy and can easily upset the ecology of the wild fish stocks.
Ask round & I'm sure you will find people who want fish.I some times think all the ponds around me have been stocked from my pond & my nieces are always phoning up wanting fish for their friends' kids. As wildwood says it is never a good idea to introduce different species into the wild, lots of time it does't do any harm but you never know just how it's going to affect things
Please be careful where you put them though! Introduction of fish of unknown quality into ponds or lakes has been known to decimate the existing population as disease can be readily introduced. Ask first!!
It is also illegal under the countryside and wildlife act 1984 to release non indiginous species into the wild.

Catch them and ask your local aquatic shop if they want them or advertise "free to good home" in your local paper
