When it comes to music obviously the music comes first ! Why is this not the case with modern bands Why?

You could be experiencing a phenomenon common to all music enthusiasts - it's called growing older! There may not be the passion for music amongst some young bands - the cult of the manufactured band is growing ever more popular, but there are still plenty of young keen musicians out there who make music because they can't be happy doing anything esle. You've just got to dig a little deeper to find them, but they are out there!
