trying to get playstation to work on Sky+ TV

I am trying to use a playstation on my main tv which usually only ever controls the tv via Sky+.
I have the playstation plugged in etc but I just need to know how to get the playstation picture up on the tv.
Any ideas?

How is the playstation plugged into the TV, (I have never done it), does it plug into the scart socket on the back of the TV ?

If so you need to change the TV so it goes to channel AV1 or AV2.

My remote control has a button you press so it rotates from "normal" TV, to AV1, then AV2 and back again.

On my Sky+ handset (which is set up to operate the TV) it is the "help" button but this may not be true on all handsets. Do it while in "TV" mode not "Sky" mode on the handset.

Great vehelpfulguy - your advice worked a treat.
I knew that it couldn't be too complicated but just didn't know where to start!
Turning it to 'normal' tv and then pressing the help button 3 times brought it up on the screen.
