how much should a trainee hairdresser earn?

i have been training for a yr with its and am twenty in two weeks i have been advised that i should be earning minimum wage for my age but i am not yet. how much should i be earning?

yes training all my training is donne in the salon where i am contracted to 45 hours
While you were in the first year of your apprenticeship, you were not entitled to receive the minimum wage. See paragraph 25 here:

As you've been in the apprenticeship for over a year, you're now entitled to receive �4.45 per hour. (That rises to �4.60 per hour for the first pay period which starts on, or after, 1st October 2007). See here:
