Absolutely!!
it is time for Common Sense to prevail Lets call a spade a spade not "a non-mechanical soil transference device"
Yes DEFINITELY OTT!!
And what is laughable about Political correctness is that those who are meant to be ''benefitting'' from a change in, for example words used so as not to exclude them, etc, are not bothered at all. Sometimes, the changes made are worse and emphasize the situation. It makes me angry grrrrrr.

Here are a few examples of words and phrases that cannot be used:
-'visually impaired' instead of 'blind' (people who wear glasses are visually impaired, so this doesnt make sense)
-'thought cloud' to replace 'brain storm' (apparently, offensive people with a mental illness. Has this ever bothered people...really?!)
-The suffix '-man-' has now been replaced with '-person', so now we have 'chairperson' instead of 'chairman' in some cases.

I would like to complain about the word white-board. It is racist tut tut :P
No, I think people getting upset about supposed examples of political correctness that no-one in the real world actually uses has gone OTT.
no deffo not ott enough.

thanks for all your answers, but did you know that political correctness first started in the USA as a joke.

On one of Richard (the hamster) Hammonds tea-time shows was a muslim comedian who told a joke that I as a white honkey would be slaughtered for telling. Judge for yourself;

The comedian did the frog song mobile telephone ring-tone which was popular last year then looked to camera and said 'To you, that is the frog ring tone - to me it is the muslim wedding vows.'

Now, who's the racist???
