That depends on when it was fed. Some turf suppliers feed the turf before cutting it. I have just had turf laid in my garden and with the turf came a bag of fertiliser and instructions to dig into the top soil before laying the turf. The instructions went on to say the turf should not be fed for six weeks after laying.

no, just keep it well watered. do not let it dry out otherwise it will shrink and curl up. not a pretty site.
