Working my notice
I am obliged to give one month's notice but if I have 18 days leave to take would I be correct in thinking I could go into work on a Mon, give one month's notice, work on the Tue and then that's it? The 18 days leave would take me up to the end of that month so I would not be in debit. Thanks in advance.

Unless omeone contradicts me I think you are within your rights to do this and I know people who have done it.
Worth checking your employment contract to see what it says about prior approval of leave, and consider that you may well want a reference from this employer at some point in the future.
Good luck!

You can put a request for leave in but your employer is within their rights to refuse it. If they want you in the workplace (to train a replacement for example) they can insist on that. It would be a justified business reasons
If they do that, you'll get any outstanding leave paid to you with your final salary.
