Anyone know what OSD is?

My computer has started to lock up frequently. When i press ctrl alt delete the message box tells me that the ODS is not responding. Could anyone tell me what the OSD is, and how do i rectify this problem. Thanks

OSD or ODS? You use both in your description. OSD in computer terms generally refers to On Screen Display - not likely in this instance. Or Open Software Description code - more likely. There are other OSD issues specific to Linux and Windows NT. There are still more ODS issues specific to servers. You don't say what your operating system is. Do you use Internet explorer? If so there is a chance that this problem is linked. Go to add/remove programmes and select IE then select repair. If this doesn't help please post the full error message.
