Had this disgusting act been carried out by a group of men their feet would not have touched the floor until they had been banged up for years, with a mob of women baying for them to be strung-up, and quite rightly so. Incidently the same day this news story broke, two men were sent to jail for making two dogs fight.

Yes I agree with tiny e.a such scum should be sterilized to prevent them from having further children. failing this the Goverment should bring in measures that somehow reward good parents, yet at the same time withdraw all allowances etc. that encourages such scum bringing into the world more innocent little souls.

It is a sad fact but bringing in such draconian measures will be the only way to put a halt to the Yob culture that is now prevalent in this country.

I live in the same city....the area these women come from -North Prospect - is also known as 'swilly' ....don't know what it means but sounds awful. It is one of the most disadvantaged areas....one comentator said that behavior like this is not unusual within this social class...the grandmother was unrepentant as she felt that she was instilling 'character' !!!!! God help us...explains a lot of our modern day ills. By the way ...the father of the children ,who is seperated from his wife,is the one who found the video and reported it....he now has custody I believe.

Well thanks everyone, I think we mostly agree that they should have gone to jail. On the very same day a couple of men where jailed for hosting dog frights, It seems that toddler fighting is considered less serious by the courts!

sorry, back to the question....I read about this a few days ago and it's been praying on my mind ever since. I think about probably because i myself have a 2and half year old and the thought that anyone would do this, least of all with your own children appalls me.

It really does make you wonder what other things these kind of sub humans (wouldn't even call them animals, no animal would do this to their own) do that the rest of us quite rightly would be shocked at.

My only hope now is that the children involved now get to lead the kind of life that all children should be entitled to.

A dreadful case but lets not forget that there have always been such cruel, knuckle-scraping morons around, and there always will be. Take faith from the fact that the culprits were shopped to the police, the case shocked the country and those poor children are now living with their responsible father's part of the family. Their monstrous mother has lost them, and rightly so.
The most worrying and ominous sign is that the courts did not imprison those "women". It's the judcial system that is degenerating and fast.
