I have 3 little killing ninja's, I put bells on thier collars and that helped for a bit, until they got wise and started moving so slyly that the bells made no noise!
Like the previous person has said a bell will help a little bit, but sadly you won't stop it completely, it's a cats natural instinct to kill things.
Suggest you keep your cat inside with a litterbox at night.
A gamekeeper will have no hesitation in disposing of a cat if he gets it in his sights. It is, after all, his job.
hiya casperkid one of our cats used to catch birds about twice a week, until we bought her a Liberator coller from Pets at Home 9.99, yes they are a bit expensive but they do work. while she has it on she would go months without catching a bird. They work by making a bleeping sound and a red light flashing, the only problem we had with it was that it went off quite alot, while she was indoors when she was playing and jumping about. It might be worth a try, we used to tell everyone she had been tagged for being a bad kitty. Anyway good luck with your cat. xXx
