I changed the water and cleaned and scrubbed all the contents & added the safewater (same routine as i always do every six months) but it's been 3 days now and the fish just sit at the bottom and dont swim about like they used too, any ideas or should i change the water again.

Nothing to do with water change. As you said it's been 3 days, more than ample time for the water to reach a suitable temp for them.
It's more than likely shock!
Are your fish in an unfiltered tank? You only change their water ever 6 months? If so that's not enough. If they're in a bowl (which is really unsuitable by the way) they need partial (at least 30/40%) at least once a week. Goldfish are notorious poop makers.
Saying all of the above, they still need some of the natural bacteria they produce through poop introduced in their fresh water.
Please change some of the water more often and possibly leave some of their ornaments (or whatever's in there with them) unwashed.

It is a Tank, (i too dont agree with bowls) it's quite big on a stand with Filters and such, i usually change 50% of the water once a month, but do the big clean every 6 months.
There are only 3 fish in it and they are getting on for 3 years now, and seam to be a lot better in the last day, so might try and not upset them too much in the future.
Thanks for all the replys
