I have had Samsung E 700 for about 4 years.Just recently although it is always fully charged when I fetch it from my handbag it has switched itself off.Is this the sign of requiring a new battery. Thanks.

Your lucky you got 4 years out of that battery tbh and yeah i'd imagine the battery is on its way out.

When you get your new battery, dont charge the phone for the 4 hours stated. Charge it for 12-14 hours, the first break in charge is always better then you should see the battery's full capacity. Even if the battery says its charged full, dont be tempted to remove it.

Source a new battery on Ebay they are alot cheaper.
