Ask the bank or building society who hold the account for advice - this must be a common situation, and they will be able to advise you how to proceed.
According to my resident bank manager/girlfriend you simply go into your branch and tell them that there's a dispute and they should place a 'stop' on the account which can only be removed when BOTH parties authorise it...
Gidadave is right, where there is a dispute the account will have to be frozen. Be sneaky and wait till his salary as just gone in, then kick up a fuss leaving him without a bean and able to reflect on his difficult ways. Good luck
The only people who can intervene are the people who adminster the account - i.e. the bank or building society. Unless you talk to them, you won't get a practical answer.
thank you for all your help i`ve managed to get the account frozen if he tries to use his cash point card it will be retained ans asfor it being overdrawn that is a matter for my solicitor :-)
