Will baby house martins return to the same nest?

I have house martins that nest either side of my window under the eaves of my house every year. Last year each pair and two broods! Will those babies return to this same place and even the same nest? Many thanks.

Barring accidents, the young will certainly return to the same area, and even the same house. Whether they take up an old nest will depend on its state, and whether older birds claim it first.

I agree with the above but, in our case its the parents who come back to the same nest.Last year two others built another nest so i think it was one of the youngsters who found a mate.I know they can be a bit messy but oh what fun you get and pleasure from seeing them and all the hard work it takes to feed those youngsters.Happy viewing

Had a sneaky feeling the same ones, well at least the parents come back to the nests. It is very messy but so worth it to watch them so close. Great!! Thanks for your responses.
