Yucca Plants

We have a Yucca plant outside that has grown a second plat alongside; appears to atttached like a bulb. Can we seperate the two and replant?

Yes, just slice it off with a sharp knife and plant. The plantlets don't need roots, just plant in compost/soil and it should take.
