I'm not sure if this an early April Fool question, suna,or if you are serious!
If you are serious I suggest you either consult your Instruction manual or contact the makers of your knitting machine.
Good luck in your search!
when i had my knitting machine i used the combe to cast on it had a little catch to slip the wool into then set off knitting

as for the knitting curling up i had the same problem i found it best to just leave it until you are ready to sew it up i still have the same problem with knitting by hand

i found taking the wool and knit it by bringing the needle forward put the wool into the latch then take it back then with the latch tool pass the stitch onto the next one it is a slow but that is the only way

i no longer use my knitting machine as it is a very old empisal and parts are no longer available
