Microwave with Grill

My microwave has just gone, and I was thinking of replacing it with a microwave that also grills.

Has anyone got one, and how good is it at grilling?

Kind of weak and always a mess. Go for a flavorwave convection oven. Costs less than $100 and grills better than anything we have ever used. www.thane.com

i've got a combi (grill and oven) microwave and its not bad, does the job anyway!

I haven't got a microwave and have never needed one! What foods do you find are so much better cooked in a mocrowave that int he traditional method? Whenever I've cooked using a microwave I've always felt the food wasn't as well done. Do yu not hate it when you are served a microwaved jacket potatoe and it's all weird inside?!!!

We've got an all in one microwave/oven/grill and it's pretty good but slow to warm up. If you have a grill built into your oven I wouldn't bother.

Bit late I know, but when I replaced my microwave I bought one from Lidl (cheap of course) combined with a grill.

I did not realise till later that it has a button to press for heating pizza, either frozen or fresh. I tried it because it is such a chore waiting for oven to heat up.

Now we never use anything else, in fact when I did use the oven the children could tell the difference and complained that they were not as nice.

Buy a proper cooker and learn to cook !!!!!

The reason I was considering this, was because I have a grill in the oven but can't use both the grill and the oven at the same time and for starting of jacket potatoes which I then finish on the oven. Time you get home late from work its too long to wait for a jacket potato to cook in the oven.

It wasn't G Best because I can't cook but too save me time.
