Informal Marriage

My husband and I filed a Declaration and registration of Informal Marriage in Texas. A year later we filed for a formal marriage license and were legally married in Nevada. Does the formal marriage replace the informal marriage.

This is a UK based site and although there are a few Americans who use it, you may not get an answer here.

We do not have 'informal marriages' here, so I have no idea.
