if i change the radio casette in my vauxhall zafira to a kenwood cd/radio i have, will i still get the readout on the little screen, and will i still be able to control it with the steering wheel controls?

It didn't work in my Freelander when I swapped the stereo. And the LandRover garage pretty much said it would only work with the original stereo. But if you ask the Vauxhall main dealer nearest to you, they may be able to advise on a make of stereo thats compatible with your motor. Good luck dude..........
Some of the Kenwood stereos directly support the Vauxhall display; some of them have an accessory socket on the back which, using an additional Kenwood interface box (KPA-SD100), will support the display and the steering column controls.
