As far as I am aware the site is called the answerbank. So I'm guessing the purpose would be to gain answers? Thus I'm suggesting that people could stop being so rude when answering a Q's saying "If you'd tried Google...etc". It's not called www.ifyoucan'tfinditongoogletryhere.com. It's the blinking answerbank. And if I won't to post a Q without checking Google first I flippin well will! Moan over.

I also don't think it's nice when new people are ribbed for making smelling pis5takes and using bad grammar. So what?! You're not sitting an exam you're asking an interesting Q that has been bugging you. Moan #2 over. (BTW I am normally happy bunny :D)
and if you do ask here without checking to see if the question has been answered or at least trying to google, then you will get "comments" got to say I agree about the spelling comments though

I guess you don't agree with me about the google bit, but if everyone found the answers via google before they tried here then the answerbank wouldn't exist! I'm happy now anyway - I have choccy biccy's :)
Hi natalie, i agree that it's not fair if someone has genuinely tried to find an answer first, my problem is people who ask questions when they CLEARLY haven't even bothered to try and find the answer - which is laziness. Secondly I don't have a problem with people who can't spell if they actually can't spell, but those who use txt spk do make me want to kill them. And in fact the answerbank probably should have that name! at least people will have tried google first...man we're all just advertising google here really! Don't get wound up there's enough trolls on here to create a lord of the rings trilogy on our own, ignore them and they go away.
I don't alwyas google before asking a question Natalie. And I would never criticise someone for asking a genuine question, no matter how simple. BUT people who ask a question that is already on the page they are using or has been asked 40 times in the previous day - that's different! Those questions push other more valid ones off the page, and that's not fair. Spelling - not everyone can, no problems.
