forgotten combination

Does anyone know how if possible to change the combination on a hardshell Samsonite suitcase?

look on the inside of the case at the back of the combination mech. should be a leaver or switch that you move/press and change the code. Then put back to original position.

Sorry thats if the case is open and you want to change it. Not locked.

Cheers, but there is no switch or leaver on the back, there are just 2 screws!! If it helps i think the case is called an 'oyster'

Your lock has three numbers to use. Am I right? In that case try triple zero, triple one, triple two etc. up to triple nine, you might find one of them works. I forgot the number of my Samsonite brief case but triple two did it! Good luck ; i hope you'll let us know how it works out.

Or failing that, it would prob take an hour at the most to try all 1000 combinations....not the best idea, but a sure fire solution.
