If a wife has never worked during the marriage can she still claim half of everything in divorce settlement.Thanks

actually, this is the instance that the wife has most leverage regarding marital assets and alimony, as her role in the marriage was homemaker.

Wedding plans are going ok. Husband leaving me hasn't helped too much but we are on speaking terms. Nothing is going to spoil my daughter's wedding. His timing was just a bit cr*p
I have been to see a solicitor and there is no guarantee it is a 50/50 split but more than likely. The fact that she hasn't worked makes no difference. She has still contributed to the marriage.
